Music Video (20 Points)
  • 5: Conceptualization & Narrative: Demonstrates a clear and innovative approach to interpreting the song visually, with a strong narrative structure that aligns with the music and its mood.
  • 5: Aesthetic & Visual Style: Effectively communicates a unique visual style, showcasing a deep understanding of cinematography, shot composition, and visual storytelling.
  • 5: Technical Execution: High-quality production values, including proper lighting, sound, and editing techniques. The video demonstrates professional standards in technical execution.
  • 5: Creativity & Engagement: The music video captivates and engages the audience, demonstrating original ideas and creative flair. The video aligns well with the song's target audience.
  • Late Policy: A deduction of 3 points will be applied for each day the assignment is late. Submissions more than 3 days late will not be accepted






Pitch Deck (15 Points)
  • 5: Concept Development & Clarity: The pitch deck clearly presents the commercial concept, target audience, and style. It effectively communicates the core idea and vision for the commercial.
  • 5: Visual Planning & Role-Specific Contributions: The presentation is thorough and includes relevant visual elements including storyboards, lookbooks, and mood boards. Each student's role is well-defined and contributes to the overall concept.
  • 5: Structure & Organization: The deck is well-organized, easy to follow, and presents information logically. Each section is concise, with no superfluous content.
  • Late Policy:  Submissions more than 6 hours late will not be accepted.









Final Film ( 25 Points )
  • 5: Rough Cut (Submission 1): The rough cut showcases a clear narrative structure, smooth editing, and technical competence. Transitions, pacing, and visual elements are well-integrated.
  • 5: Final Cut (Submission 2): The final cut demonstrates refined editing, advanced sound design, and color grading. It is technically polished and client-ready, showing high-quality work.
  • 5: Creative Storytelling: The film effectively conveys its message, with compelling storytelling and strong engagement with the target audience.
  • 5: Technical Execution: The final product meets professional standards in all technical aspects, including sound, color grading, and visual style.
  • 5: Feedback Incorporation: The final cut successfully incorporates feedback from the rough cut review, demonstrating improvements in narrative, pacing, and technical execution.
